Getting reaquainted

My resolution for 2013 is to keep my twitter account and blog up-to-date. I'm getting a late start, I know, but only by about a month.
Anyway, let's get reaquainted! I'm Donna, a retired teacher and owner of King's Row Antiques. It's hard to believe that King's Row is about to begin our third year here in downtown Guntersville, Alabama. And I've loved every moment of the first two years!
Last time ( and first time) I blogged here, we had only been open a few months. As you can imagine, a few things have changed in two years. We have some new dealers and a few of our dear old faithful dealers who have been with us from the beginning.
I'll introduce you to our dealers through the blog in coming months.
Today, though, I'll just give you an overview of the shop as it currently stands.
There are 16 dealers, including myself. It's an eclectic mixture that works well.
You'll find furniture and decor in every style - vintage, mid-century, primitive, painted, repurposed and traditional, as well as hand crafted jewelry, scarves, purses, lampshades, signs, and tables. Guntersville is a lake town, so we also have some nautical items.

I'm so thankful to have such a talented bunch of people to work with in such a beautiful location!

Future blogs will introduce you to all the different dealers in King's Row and tell you a little about what it's like to own an antique shop. I'll probably brag just a little bit about our beautiful town, Guntersville, Alabama!

Please follow us on twitter @kingsrowantique  and I'd sure appreciate it if you'd like us on facebook at King's Row Antiques Guntersville.

Hope to see you at King's Row very soon!
Donna
